4th of July weekend

I hope everyone had a good weekend! We had a lot of fun. On Friday morning we went out with Eric's parents 4-wheeling up the mountain. It was fun, but it was very hot! Eric says next time we do something like that for that long we aren't taking the kids. I think they enjoyed it for the first hour. Anyway we started on the other side of the cosway and rode up the side of the mountain which was pretty steep and very rocky! Brac and Breanne both fell asleep about halfway to the top. Eric any I had one of them on our 4-wheeler and Craig and Careen had one on theirs. Eric and I were glad that we had Breanne when they fell asleep.
After we got done doing that we came home and showered and went over to Dave Raels for a barbecue and fireworks! It is so nice to be connected to him because Brac just loves going over and shooting off his own fireworks and then watching the big ones! The food is always excellent and we always get to see lots of people we know and lots we don't know as well. Brac just loves Dave! He calls him Grandpa Rael. He gets a little confused still of why he is Hailey and Alyssa's Grandpa and not his. Oh well I am sure he will get it figured out one of these days. Anyway Dave's fireworks were awsome as usual and we had a really good 4th of July.
On the 5th we went to Rylee Kannards baptism in the morning and after that we drove up the mountain to the Wardell family reunion. We were only up there for a couple of hours but it was nice to see some family that we don't usually get to see.
